Particular Topics in CS


Course Description

This course (called Particular Topics in Computer Science) is designed for those students who are hesitant to take Computers I (which consists of a much more in depth study of computer science and programming). It will consist mainly of a traditional/project-based introduction to computer programming via the Visual Basic programming language (60%), online SNAP programming (15%), and Robotic Programming (Finch Bot) using the Java programming language (15%). Those students who wish to take more computer science courses in high school and college are urged to take Computers I.
